Systems Analyst / Analyst Programmer - Java, Microservices

He / She will be responsible for application development and ongoing maintenance support with the following scope of duties:
• Conduct requirement study, analysis & design, prepare documentation and co-ordinate with users, technical and operations teams
• Lead the analyst programmers/programmers by providing guidelines and assistance to enable solution development and implementation, with passion to be hands-on with coding
• Develop and maintain application programs
• Prepare test plan, test cases/scripts, test environments, data and perform testing
• Support user acceptance testing and system implementation
• Prepare system and operations documents
• Provide ongoing user and application support

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT profession for System Analyst; 1 to 4 years for Analyst Programmer
• Knowledgeable and experienced in design, programming and microservices
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, XML, JSON, .Net, VB, Unix, WebLogic
• Experience in database such as Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Knowledgeable in API management using MuleSoft or Red Hat Fuse & 3Scale is preferred
• Knowledgeable in framework such as Spring and jQuery is advantageous
• Knowledgeable in client server technology e.g. PowerBuilder is advantageous
• Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese
• With passion in technology forefront, such as microservices, DevOps, RPA and Customer Experience
• Good analytical, inter-personal and problem solving skills
• Good team player, positive attitude, innovative, self-initiating, eager to learn and share with other team members, hardworking, able to work under pressure and work independently
• Candidates with less qualification and experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer
