Data Analyst / Engineer

He / She will be responsible for data engineering and lead the implementation and migration of existing
on-premises data warehouse to cloud based data analytics platform:
• Design and deliver the data pipelines, interfaces, and architecture solutions utilizing cloud-based data analytics platform such as AWS / GCP
• Design and develop of highly scalable data analytics platforms, distributed systems and automated data integration pipelines
• Work with data management technologies for data integration, data virtualization, data governance and security, data lineage, data catalog and metadata management
• Work on cloud based big data analytics technologies such as AWS Redshift / GCP BigQuery
• Work with the business analysts and translate the business data requirements to the data engineering team
• Design the data flows from on-premises data sources to cloud data platform
• Prepare system and operations documents
• Provide ongoing user and application support

• University graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Science related disciplines
• 5+ years working / project experience participating in Cloud based Data Management, Data Warehouse and Data Lake Management, EDM, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), Business Intelligence or Data Analysis related duties
• Solid experience in a cloud based data management platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a must
• Solid hand's on building ETL process, reporting, and dashboard
• Skilled in SQL, python and other related scripting and programming language
• Good knowledge in Data analysis, RDBMS and NoSQL System
• Able to work under pressure
• Effective verbal and written communication in English and Chinese
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in challenging environment
• Hands-on experience covering a combination in some of the following areas:

o AWS/GCP/Azure Cloud configuration
o ETL Tools and Data Modeling Tools
o Reporting and Data Visualization Tools
o Python, R, Shell Script
o AWS Redshift, GCP Big Query, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, PL/SQL, Teradata
