Operator (System Operations)

Operate and monitor the computer, network and data centre environmental facilities
Operate peripheral devices
Ensure scheduled computer jobs or production and acceptance tests are running successfully without error
Ensure scheduled backup jobs are completed accurately and on time
Monitor console messages and online systems
Perform recovery routine as instructed in the event of hardware malfunction
Record equipment problems, place service call and monitor the repair
Assist in the resolution of problems related to the computer systems
Perform shift duty on a 7x24 roster basis
